Steel Grit MediaSteel Grit:
Sharp cutting angular particles that clean by cutting and etching into the surface. Depending on particle size these medias will leave an etched surface with well defined anchor pattern.

Typically used in a Blast Room with a correctly sized Recovery System, Steel Grit can be recycled 100's of times making it a very economical choice.

Steel Shot MediaSteel Shot:
Spherical in shape, Steel Shot is typically used for Shot Peening which Relieves the Stresses associated with Metal Fabrication and Fatigue. Steel Shot is commonly used in the Foundry and Aviation Industries and as the description suggests, peening occurs rather than etching.

Garnet MediaGarnet:
As with Steel Shot, Garnet has sharp cutting angular particles that clean by cutting and etching into the surface. Depending on particle size these medias will leave an etched surface with well defined anchor pattern. Used as a non-metallic Abrasive Media to prevent cross contamination caused by dissimilar metals, Garnet is a cheap, all purpose Abrasive Media. Used in Blast Cabinets, Blast Rooms and for on-site Blasting.

Glass Bead MediaGlass Bead:
Generally considered the best Abrasive Media for most Abrasive Blast Cleaning carried out in Abrasive Blasting Cabinets. Glass Beads or Impact Spheres clean well, leave a fine surface finish.

Plastic MediaPlastic:
Plastic Blast Media is Dust free. A synthetic Abrasive Blasting Media that is used for deflashing plastic components, cleaning electronic connections, circuit boards, dies and moulds. Typically used in Abrasive Blasting Cabinets. Mil Spec Media available upon request.

Aluminium Oxide MediaAluminium Oxide:
Aluminium Oxide is used for its hardness and strength. Sharp cutting angular particles that clean by cutting and etching into the surface. Depending on particle size these medias will leave an etched surface with well defined anchor pattern.

Cut Wire MediaCut Wire:
Cut Wire Abrasive Media is manufactured from high quality wire. It is cut to length at typically the same dimension as its diameter. Extremely durable sharp cutting edges clean by cutting and etching into the surface. Depending on particle size these medias will leave an etched surface with well defined anchor pattern.

Ceramic MediaCeramic:
As with Glass Bead, Ceramic Media leaves a fine surface and will not distort or change dimensions of most parts. The main benefit with Ceramic Media is its durability. While it works the same as Glass Bead, the life of Ceramic can be up to dozens of times longer.

Agricultural Abrasives:
Ground corn cob, rice hulls, walnut shells and fruit pits are used on soft surfaces including plastic and aluminium
